Ingredients (large-bt)
☘ 375 gms – sweet corn kernels
☘ 25 ml – water
☘ 3 nos. – egg
☘ 250 gms – cheddar cheese, shredded
☘ 250 ml – milk
☘ 75 gms – spring onions, finely chopped
☘ 50 gms – sweet red pepper, finely chopped
☘ 50 gms – all-purpose flour
☘ 1 tbsp – fresh marjoram, very finely chopped
☘ To taste salt
☘ ½ tsp – pepper
Method (large-bt)
1) In a large bowl, mix the corn and water, cover and microwave on high power for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring every two minutes. Drain if necessary.
2) In a separate bowl, beat egg; stir in cooked corn, cheese, milk, onions and red pepper.
3) Whisk in flour, marjoram, salt and pepper.
4) Pour into a greased microwaveable moulds or one large baking dish and cover with waxed paper.
5) Pierce tiny holes on top.
6) Using the convection mode heat the oven then bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
7) Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.
