Ingredients (large-bt)
☘ 125 gms – soya flour
☘ 125 gms – whole wheat flour
☘ ¼ tsp – soda bicarbonate
☘ 1 tbsp – low fat curds
☘ 2 tbsp – powdered sugar
☘ ¼ tsp – nutmeg jaiphal powder
☘ ¼ tsp – cardamom elaichi powder
☘ 1 tbsp – softened low fat butter
☘ 1 tbsp – oil
☘ To taste salt
Method (large-bt)
1) Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well using your fingertips till they resemble breadcrumbs.
2) Add approx. 2 tablespoons of cold water and knead it gently into a crumbly dough.
3) Divide into 20 equal portions.
4) Roll into a ball and flatten between your palms.
5) Place them on a lightly greased baking plate.
6) Preheat the oven following instruction to 150 °C.
7) When hot place the biscuits inside and bake for 15-20 minutes till they are a pale golden brown.
8) Cool and store in an air-tight container.
