Ingredients (large-bt)
☘ 250 gms – bhindi (ladyfingers)
☘ ½ tsp – garam masala powder
☘ ½ tsp – red chilli powder
☘ 2 tsp – coriander powder
☘ ½ tsp – turmeric powder
☘ ½ tsp – sugar
☘ ½ tsp – amchoor powder
☘ To taste salt
☘ 2 tbsp – lemon juice
☘ 1 tbsp – oil
Method (large-bt)
1) Wash the bhindi properly and dry thoroughly.
2) Remove the ends and slit the bhindi lengthwise without cutting through it.
3) In a bowl, combine the garam masala powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, sugar, amchoor powder and salt.
4) Mix the spices well and add the lemon juice. Apply this paste inside the slit bhindi.
5) Put the oil in a glass bowl and microwave on medium power for 5 seconds.
6) Add the bhindi, toss well and microwave on high power for 6 minutes, taking care to pause and stir after every 2 minutes.
7) Leave to stand for 2 minutes before serving.
