Preparation Time: 10 mins 

Serves: 3

Ingredients (large-bt)

250 gms – sweet corn kernels 

2 nos. – medium sized onions, finely chopped 

2 nos. – tomatoes, finely chopped 

3 – 4 nos. – black cardamoms 

1 tsp – red chilli powder 

¼ tsp – turmeric powder 

¼ tsp – sugar 

2 nos. – green chillies, deseeded and chopped 

200 gms – curd, beaten 

To taste salt 

2 tbsp – oil

Method (large-bt)

1) In a casserole, combine the corn kernels with 50 ml water and microwave on medium power for 4 minutes. Remove and keep aside.

2) In a bowl, add the oil and microwave on medium power for 5 seconds.

3) Add the black cardamoms and onions, mix well and microwave again for 2 minutes, pausing and stirring after each minute.

4) Mix in tomatoes and microwave again for 3 minutes, pausing and stirring after each minute.

5) Add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar and green chillies, mix well and microwave for 1 minute.

6) Mix in the beaten curd, corn and salt and microwave for another 2 minutes.

7) Serve hot.
