Ingredients (large-bt)
☘ 250 gms – sweet corn kernels
☘ 2 nos. – medium sized onions, finely chopped
☘ 2 nos. – tomatoes, finely chopped
☘ 3 – 4 nos. – black cardamoms
☘ 1 tsp – red chilli powder
☘ ¼ tsp – turmeric powder
☘ ¼ tsp – sugar
☘ 2 nos. – green chillies, deseeded and chopped
☘ 200 gms – curd, beaten
☘ To taste salt
☘ 2 tbsp – oil
Method (large-bt)
1) In a casserole, combine the corn kernels with 50 ml water and microwave on medium power for 4 minutes. Remove and keep aside.
2) In a bowl, add the oil and microwave on medium power for 5 seconds.
3) Add the black cardamoms and onions, mix well and microwave again for 2 minutes, pausing and stirring after each minute.
4) Mix in tomatoes and microwave again for 3 minutes, pausing and stirring after each minute.
5) Add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar and green chillies, mix well and microwave for 1 minute.
6) Mix in the beaten curd, corn and salt and microwave for another 2 minutes.
7) Serve hot.
