Ingredients (large-bt)
☘ 1 kg – lamb leg
☘ 60 ml – ghee or oil
To be ground into a paste (large-bt)
☘ 5 nos. – red kashmiri chillies
☘ 1 pod – garlic
☘ 1 tbsp – cumin seeds
☘ 1 tsp – turmeric powder
☘ 1” piece – ginger
☘ 100 ml – vinegar
☘ A pinch – saffron
☘ 4 – 5 nos. – pepper corns
☘ To taste salt
Method (large-bt)
1) Marinate the meat with the prepared paste overnight.
2) Brush all over with oil and place the meat in a glass casserole.
3) Prick all over with a fork and microwave uncovered on high power for 15 – 20 minutes or until done, pausing and turning every 8 minutes.
4) Leave to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
